This photo is taken from our land. It shows a steam train travelling up the Raurimu Spiral. Steam excursions happen several times a year.

There are two ski fields on Mt Ruapehu. Whakapapa has stunning views of Mt Ngauruhoe.

All three volcanoes are active. Ruapehu last erupted in 1996.

We have about 4000 peony plants growing; we export the flowers around the world. They flower between November and January.
